At this junction of your life where you are preparing for a tough exam like IAS it is very important to share with you the learning’s that I acquired during my preparation and teaching years.
1) IAS is about smart work rather than donkey’s labour. It is as much important to know
what not to study as to know what to study.
2) It is not the number of sources from where to study matter, it is about how well you
consolidate from what all you have study.
3) It is about setting daily, weekly and monthly goals and accomplishing them.
4) Internet is a boon for IAS aspirants. All the required information is just a click away; all
that you need is the judiousness to differentiate between relevant and irrelevant.
5) It is always advisable to be a part of study groups. Discussions make things easier to
grasp and retain.
6) Relearning and over learning is the key. Keep revising as much as possible to resist
forgetting.
7) Remain stress free. Focus on means and not on the end. Keep working hard, rewards
will follow.
